Chilis @ Mid Valley, KL

Suddenly noticed that I actually saved this post as a draft long long time ago. =,=" So... I finally published it now.



This actually happened last year the day right after the T-Music Festival Concert. We actually went to Mid Valley for lunch after we checked out from the hotel.



We had ordered he same drink. I can't remember the name now. But, it was some chocolate milk shake thing. As long as I can still recall... It was GOOD! ^^"



This was what Wai ordered... Chicken Fatijas if not mistaken. @@" Tasty~ ^^"



This was what I ordered, I think it was something mix grilled... with seafood, chicken and beef.



And it was served with all these ingredients to be wrapped. Well.... the conclusion is "it was great!!!"



Oh... Bryan did showed up to help finished the food. We actually ordered for 2, but we were only able to finished those food with the combine power of 3. @@"

小昇游馬記 - 最後一日 Jesson’s trip to Malaysia - Last Day

Last day for Jesson's trip in Malaysia. We woke up in the morning a bit late. Had an appointment to meet up for lunch with Regine. She selected One Utama to be our place to meet up. It isn't very far away from where we were that day. But, the traffic was really scary... Jammed all the way from LDP exit to One Utama... Then, the worst part is... Looking for a space to park my car took me 1 hour =,=" Both of us were hungry... in the end, I parked my car at a corner which is not suppose to be parked. =,="

We finally met up in Charms Cafe. Regine actually had posted about this meal. So I am going to just write a little about it.

日子過得很快, 終於來到了小昇游馬記的最後一日. 那一天, 約了阿晶吃飯. 地點是在One Utama, 距離我們下榻的酒店並不遠. 可是, 驅車過去那裡卻是個惡夢. =,=" 從高速公路轉入商場的十字路口到停車場入口, 花了快15分鐘... =,=" 更加可怕的就是, 在停車場內兜來轉去花了一小時還找不到停車位. @@" 肚子餓到頭昏腦脹, 最後胡亂的把車子停在一個角落. 然後期望著, 回來的時候車子沒被別人撞....

之前, 阿晶已經把這一餐寫入了她的部落Charms Cafe. 大家有興趣的話請光顧阿晶的窝.

Creamy Turkey Pasta - I ordered this. Tasty... ^^" Love the way they cook it.

我所點的義大利面. 好吃, 味道恰到好處, 而且不會覺得太膩.



Lamb Charmer - served with rice, and those lamb chops are served "on fire". For me, the mutton tasted ok, but a bit too fat... By the way, special thanks to Regine, coz I was a bit broke. She took care of the bill. ^^"

這是阿晶跟小昇點的烤羊肉套餐. 對我來說, 那羊肉味道不錯, 可惜覺得羊肉有點太肥. 這套餐的賣點其實就是那送上來的時候還是生的羊肉. 要烤到多熟全由自己喜好... 對了, 得多謝阿晶, 這一餐讓阿晶掏腰包還了... 也不是說小狐還不起, 只是小狐那時候有點小窮 =,="



After the meal, we rushed to KLIA. After checking in, brought him walking around to have a look at this huge air port. =,=" Yes, it is huge, but it was not busy... Maybe I was there at a wrong time, but the huge air port gave me the cold feeling of emptiness..

吃飽後, 一路慢慢開車前往機場. 帶他去註冊後, 就在機場內到處晃... 沒錯, 機場很大, 可是沒有人... 一點忙碌的感覺都沒有...

新車展覽, 多希望自己可以擁有一台 =,="




There were some dance performance organized by the tourism board. So, at least Jesson had the chance to have a look at local traditional dance performances. But, there were not much people watching...

還好旅遊局有安排一些舞蹈節目, 可惜的是觀眾沒幾個... 但是也多虧有了他們, 我才能夠讓小昇見識一下本地的傳統舞蹈.



Before sending him off, brought him to KFC to try out local KFC food. Of course not as good as Hong Kong standard. =,="

I knew Jesson via internet gaming, I was like his big bro in the game. So, when the moment I visited Hong Kong and Macau, I met him and Leo(my big bro in the game) up. @@" He told me about coming to Malaysia for a visit during his holidays. I was really happy he actually selected to visit us here. This was the first time he actually left Hong Kong coming to a foreign country all by himself. It was a great trip for him and yet a great journey for me too... I drove about 2000 km. @@" But I actually like it this way, we took our own sweet time enjoying everything. Thanks for coming to Malaysia. I hope you had fun... although some of our local food did give you some nasty experience... hahaha...

最後, 帶他去吃"老記"炸雞. 畢竟, "麥記"帶他去吃過了, 至少也得讓他試試看本地老記跟香港老記有啥分別阿... ^^"

我跟小昇會認識, 其實都是因為以前小狐玩過的網上遊戲 - 三國演義ONLINE. 我就是他在遊戲中的老大, 別看醬子喔, 我們可真的在遊戲中結拜過的喔... @@" 在以前小狐前往香港還有澳門遊玩的時候, 有幸可以跟他還有獅子星(小狐在遊戲中的老大)見面. 也非常榮幸的, 小昇在選擇畢業旅行的時候, 選了馬來西亞作為他的第一次. ^^" 畢竟是他自己一個人第一次出國, 而且還是來到一個語言未必能夠溝通的地方. 我不知道對於自己的招待, 他會否滿意. 可是, 我希望這一次的旅程, 對他來說是滿意的, 開心的. 雖然, 我知道有些本地食物讓他吃足了苦... 哈哈...

小昇游馬記 - 國慶日 Jesson’s trip to Malaysia - Merdeka Day

So, the part in Kuantan is supposed to be written by Jesson himself. Coz I was not really in any part of it. I have to work. @@" So, Last year Merdeka eve was the day we traveled back to KL. He was leaving on the 31st Aug. Well, I actually planned to bring him to have a look at the one and only Casino we have in Malaysia. So, here we go...

小昇關丹之行, 這個部分呢? 小昇跟我說要自己寫... 也對嘛, 因為我都沒有啥參與... 在關丹的日子,他都是由美女團負責的. @@" 就在國慶日前夕,我們倆繼續未完的旅程. 因為第二天, 就是小昇回香港的日子了. 我決定帶他參觀一下我國唯一的合法賭場...



I didn't really wanna drive all the way up hill. So, I actually parked at the cable car station. We to the sky way cable car to the highlands. This is something new for Jesson too.

我也沒開車直衝山頂, 因為畢竟人老了. @@" 所以, 把車子停放在山腳下的纜車中心. 我們乘搭纜車攻頂去. 他們香港的纜車可跟我們這裡的不一樣喔.



Started to see the cloud and fog around us. This was a shot taken from the cable car.

開始有一點"雲頂"的感覺了...



So, here we were at the end of the cable car ride. Look at him, safe and sound ^^"

安全抵步, 雖然看起來搖搖晃晃. 可是, 乘搭纜車還是最安全登山的方法之一. ^^"



That was a very foggy day. We walked around the theme park and took some pictures. He was a bit boring coz he is still underage. =,=" I can only show him the entrance of the casino. @@"

那一天, 雲頂高原真的很"雲頂" @@" 我們到處逛了一遍. 的確, 有點悶... 因為小昇還沒到合法年齡, 所以是無法進入賭場的. =,=" 我只帶他去參觀了賭場入口. @@"



In the end, we were too boring... So, we went to Mc Donald's to let him have a bite at Malaysia's version of Mc D's burgers. So, his reaction was: " so few choices only ar?" @@"
After the so called "burger" break... we headed back down to the cable car centre. I like this photo, it really gives me a feeling of we are at the top of the world. ^^"

最後, 我們真的是太悶了. 只好跑去麥記讓他試試看本地的麥記漢堡包. 去到那裡, 他的反應就是, 怎麼那麼少選擇阿? @@"
吃飽後, 也真的沒啥活動了. 唯有下山嚕... 特別喜歡這張照片. 給人一種天上人間的感覺. ^^"



Everyone heard about the sun is round but not everyone saw it with their own eyes before rite? So, here is the prove to everyone that the sun is round. =,="

太陽是圓形的 - 大家都聽說過吧... 親眼見過的大概不是每一個人吧. 所以把這張拍了下來, 向大家證明太陽是圓形的. =,="



After that, we traveled all the way to Damansara Perdana to check into our hotel. The room was nothing much special. So, no pictures at all. And nothing much to describe about this hotel coz 2 guys staying in the same room... Not much story to tell either. =,=" We went to The Curve to have dinner there. There were a lot of stalls out there. Didn't know they have that even in the night. @@"

繼續我們的旅程, 總算來到了我們下榻的酒店. 放下了行李, 休息了一會兒. 我們就前往The Curve去吃晚餐. 看到晚間還有許多小販擺攤子... @@"



We had our dinner at the Tony Roma's. They served one of the best ribs I had ever tasted. The picture above is roast chicken ordered by Jesson. Don't know how was that. This is what I had ordered. Juicy boneless ribs served with mashed potatoes... It was really good. I finished everything. Yummy!!! By the way, I selected the boneless 1 coz I was too lazy to use my hands that night. Coz I was taking pictures most of the time. I don't want to have those oily fingers on my DSLR =,="

我點了去了骨的烤排骨 =,=" 為啥? 懶惰用手吃咩... 因為一直都在拍照... 不想用那油油的手指按快門. @@" 不過, 真的好吃 ^^" 香甜多汁, 彈性十足, 而且佐菜中的馬鈴薯泥也很好吃 ^^" 絕對會推薦這道料理.



After dinner, we went for a little walk arond the block. Saw all these people gathering down there. They were spraying all those foam to each other. Nowdays, these are the activities to do to celebrate our national day. =,=" Kind of fun for watching from far away. If you ask me to go down there to be part of it... Thank you, thank you and thank you again. I rather stay up here. ^^"

吃飽後, 我們到處晃. 然後從樓上的行人天橋往下一看. 看到了人山人海... 而且一堆人在那裡拿著噴霧劑亂噴... 如今, 這就是我們慶祝國慶日的方式嗎? @@" 小狐真的老了... 從這裡看下去, 真的好像很好玩. 但是, 如果叫小狐拿這副老骨頭下去跟他們一起"慶祝"? 謝謝... 小狐寧願在這裡當個旁觀者. ^^"



Well, actually everyone was waiting for the fireworks show. It was worth waiting though... Jesson's first time of watching this live. The whole time, he was just kept on saying: "Wah~ Wow~ Wo~" =,="

接下來的壓軸節目自然是午夜的煙花表演... 如此的近距離看煙花, 小昇是第一次看. @@" 他說通常都在家裡看電視的. =,=" 他的反應由開始到完畢 - "哇~ 嘩~" 個沒完沒了... @@"

小昇游馬記 - 樂浪島 Jesson’s trip to Malaysia - Redang Island

Ealy in the morning, we worked very very hard to wake ourselves up... Headed out for breakfast... I brought Jesson to try out one of our specialties in Terengganu. I was still very blur... =,="

一覺醒來... 還在迷糊之中, 把小昇叫醒. 洗刷後, 帶他去吃本地的特餐 =,="

The "roti paong" <-- I don't really know how is it spelled, but I had been pronouning it that way refering to that little bun I was holding in my hand. It came in 4 pieces for a set, served with local home made kaya and butter. All you have to do is just wipe either one of those on to the hot and tasty buns... Anyway, he liked it ^^"

著名的小麵包 ^^" 大家吃過的話應該忘不了... 熱烘烘, 香甜可口的小麵包配上店家特製的咖椰漿或是普通的牛油... 都讓人讚不絕口 ^^" 當然, 我們家小昇也吃個不亦樂乎

I also ordered this for him to tryout 1 of Malaysian's favourite breakfast - half boiled eggs. He said it's kind of weird =,="

我也沒忘記讓他試試看本地人常吃的早點之一, 半生熟蛋. 他的反應? 他說怪怪的... =,="



We can't stay long, coz we had a boat to catch. Right after the meal, we rushed all the way to Merang Jetty. That's the place where we can get the boat to Redang Island.

吃飽後, 真的也沒啥時間了. 馬上開車前往墨浪碼頭.

After all the registration etc... we finally started our journey. Great view~ isn't it?

報到後, 等了一會兒就是上船, 開船... 特地跑到船尾, 漂亮吧? ^^"

A view ahead ^^" We were staying at Redang Bay Resort

船頭一顧, 碧海藍天... 對了, 大家如果有興趣知道我們住的度假村請按Redang Bay Resort

The boat ride took us around 30-40 mins, upon arrival we are requied to listen to some simple briefings. Stuff like don't step on corals, don't steal anything from the seabed etc... After dumping all our stuff in the room. I brought him de-tour the island ^^" White sands, blue sky, great ocean... Jesson was like: "Wow~ That's great~ Aw~ Beautiful~ My God~ This is great~ Wow~ Perfect~" <--- and it went on and on.... OK? Trust me, this is the first time ever he actually stepped into a place like this. ^^"

船程大約30-40分鐘, 抵步後就是度假村工作人員的一些"訓話" =,=" 就是那些不許踩珊瑚, 不許采珊瑚之類的=,=" 不過, 對於第一次前往海島的遊客, 這些都是必須知道的^^" 把行李丟在房間裡, 我們就到處趴趴走~ 白色的沙灘, 藍的天, 白的雲, 藍的海... 小昇不斷發出: "哇~ 好靚~ 天啊~ 好美喔~" <-- 不絕於耳 ^^"

This is one of my favourite view for this resort, Laguna Redang. =,=" Too bad I wasn't staying there, coz it was too costly. I just wished that I am a millionaire.

這是其中一家度假村, 也是我原本計畫中的目標. 可惜, 小狐不是有錢人... 唉~ 大家有興趣的話, 詳情請參考此度假村的資料Laguna Redang.



I think most of you had watched the Hong Kong movie - Summer Holiday featuring Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng. This is a small convinient store re-builded exactly the same like what it was in the movie right beside the original location. Why was it relocated? O... Coz they actually built the whole Laguna Redang Resort on the original location. ^^"

也許大家都看過了這一部電影 - 夏日摩摩茶. 這一部電影中的小酒店也就是跟這一棟建築物一模一樣的. 只不過原本是這棟建築物的原地, 已經改建成了之前說過的度假村.

I had actually posted the activities after lunch in Jesson's trip to the middle of the sea. So I won't be repeating the same topic here. Though it was in chinese, but I will try to translate all those into english asap. ^^" (If there is any request do let me know) After the trip into the middle of the sea. We didn't go back to sleep =,=" We continue swimming, and I did a lot of photo taking.

其實關於午餐後的活動, 我已經在小昇出海記寫過了. 所以不會再次重播@@" 接下來的都是之前沒寫過的一些東西. ^^"

Dinner was great too, we had BBQ dinner all prepared by the resort staff. After dinner, we went night shooting and here are the results. Nice?

晚餐吃的是度假村準備的燒烤大餐... 可惜, 都忘記要拍照了 =,=" 吃飽後, 就是拍夜景的時刻...

Second day, we left Redang, and drove all the way to Kuantan after a lunch break at Kuala Terengganu. Kuantan? I really don't know where to bring him to... So, I actually let those ladies to take care of him for me. hahaha~ (to be continue)

第二天, 我們離開了樂浪島. 在瓜拉登嘉樓吃了午餐後, 直接驅車前往關丹. 在關丹該帶他去那裡玩? 我可不知道捏, 只好把他交給圖中的美女們"照顧"了... 哈哈~ (待續)
