I signed up with celcom broadband last year. I took the unlimited package for "unlimited" access to internet. =,="
Mid of last month, I called up and ask why I can't connect to internet. Following are the conversation between me(A) and the Celcom customer service operators(B).
A: Hello, I can't connect to celcom broadband.
B: OK, I need you to do some troubleshooting... bla bla bla....
(process continued and done)
A: I've tried all your solutions. But nothing works...
B: Ok, I will transfer you to our broadband support department. Please hold the line. I will transfer your call to main menu and you press 3 to connect to the broadband support.
A: Huh? Oh.. ok lor... (you are not broadband support mer? then why are you guiding me through all those trouble shooting?)
Phone call was transfered to main menu, I press 3 to select broadband support. Then, they let me listen to some advertisments... no one pick up so I had to press 0 to talk to an operator(C).
C: Thank you for calling Celcom, This is C speaking, how may I help you?
A: Hello, is this the Broadband support? @@"
C: No sir, we are the customer service operators.
A: Huh? 5 minutes ago your friend over there said will transfer me to main menu and press 3 for broadband support wor... How come I am talking to you?
C: Er... Please hold the line and let me transfer you to main menu, and you can press 3 to select broadband support.
A: Er... OK lor... =,=" (@#$%^!!!)
Phone call was transfered to main menu, I press 3 to select broadband support. Then, they let me listen to some advertisments... no one pick up so I had to press 0 to talk to an operator(D).
D: Thank you for calling Celcom, This is D speaking, how may I help you?
A: Hello, is this the Broadband support? (@#$%^!!!!!)
D: No sir, we are the customer service operators.
A: What? (@#$$%!!!!) This is the 3rd time your colleagea said they will transfer my call to main menu. And I should press 3 to get to braodband support. Can't you guys just directly pass the line over there? @@"
D: Sorry to hear about that(Yeah you should!!! @#$@#@!!!), please hold, I will see what I can do.

E: Elo~ Mr Fox is it? I am from broadband support how may I help you?
A: Elo~ I got no energy to explain d... can you please look through the log file of my case and find out what happened?
E: Sorry sir, I understand that you can't connect to internet. But I need to do troubleshooting with you first...
A: (WTF!!! Again?) Huh? Agian? I thought I already did all those...
E: Sir, we have to go thru all the steps to ensure we can find out what is really wrong.
A: Ok lor....

E: Ok, now I m sure that there is nothing wrong with your account. I will log a report for you. Within 3 working days our network engineers will investigate and get back to you.
A: .... Ok lor... =,="
2 days later, my phone rang.
F: Mr Fox, we had checked your area there is nothing wrong with our network. And after check through our system. I found out that your usage had over limit.
A: I thought I signed up with Celcom for the unlimited access...
F: Yes sir, but we have a policy that once your usage is more than 5 GB a month. Your connection speed will be controlled. But you are sill able to connect to internet.
A: But I can't connect to internet.
F: Ok... let me see, oh... Your usage for this month has already reached 11GB++ so, I think your account has been temporarly banned.
A: Huh? I thought you said I am supposed to be able to connect to internet with the controlled bandwidth.
F: Yes sir, but I think once you exceeded too much the system automatically banned you.
A: .... So? When can I get access again?
F: Let me see... Ok, by the 8th June, Your account usage will be reset. By then, you should be able to connect.
A: OK lor... =,="
So, on the 8th, I was so happy to try to connect again... And I called for 2 more times for help. The result is... I was still unable to connect... I tried once a day until just now...
A: Hello, I am unable to connect to Celcom Broadband. I called for so many times and the problem remains the same.
G: Ok sir, let me guide you to do some trouble shooting first.
A: I tried all your solutions before...
G: Sir, you have to go thru all the procedure to make a report.
A: (@#$$@$#!!!!!) Oklor....

A: Huh? I thought we finished that just now, but nothing works.

A: (STOP TRYING TO HELP ME BUT HELP ME!!!! @#$$@#!!!) Can't you just get your broadband support to help me? I went through all these so many times already. And I know it won't work!
G: Er... Please hold...

A: (Not Again! @#$%@#!) Er... I just went thru 1 long session with your friend earlier. Do we have to go through that again?
H: No sir. This is a totally different steps of trouble shooting.
A: Ok lor... (WTF!!! But what choice do I have here?? @#@!#@$@!!!)

H: Sir, I think this is your modem having some problem.
A: Huh? Now only you guys tell me...
H: You should contact your dealer...
A: Huh? Do you mean the shop I bought the modem?
H: Er... yes. There is nothing wrong with the network and the sim card. So it should be your modem probelm lar.
A: (@#@!$@$!!! ) Why have to take so long to identify a modem problem? You guys should have let me know from my first few calls.
H: Sorry sir, there is nothing I can do here. Is there anything else I can help you with?
A: (@#$%!!! You can help me mer?) Nothing...
How do you guys feel about this? Unlimited package that has a limit. And the customer service that is hopeless.... =,=" Arghhh!!!

Celcom Broadband is full of bullshit. You should try the streamyx combo, RM60. The other RM8you can da pao while downloading torrent. Oh yeah if your torrent download slow down after the 5gb limit, I can help you speed up, but dont tell anyone, shhhhh....

To me, all SP in Malaysia are jokes really. I have no comment on this, but do remind that the culture make this trends, in a piece of advice, TRY TO GET USED TO IT LO... heheh...
